WDM#16 V I R G O with Charlotte Aurich
Vienna, 18. September — 18. Oktober 2020
For the sixteenth issue of The White Dwarf Magazine Charlotte Aurich presents us with paintings placed on sloping wood panels.
The show pictures a close relationship between the paintings and the situative activities in their presentation. Placed in the room, the sloping wood panels are the supporting hang ons between wall and paintings. This relationship shapes an offering plane on which to exhibit the paintings movements and neighbourhoods.
The White Dwarf Magazine shows colored pencil variations of one of the exhibited paintings (r.). The drawings took their source in the moments of pause in the paintings process. For the Magazine the pencil drawings were loosly combined and overlayerd on the scanner with WDM Layout elements and rectangular shapes.
